Is it legal to set static nets in an estuary?

The Truth is often stumbled upon by men, most of whom pick themselves up and hurry along as if nothing ever happened.

Re: Netting
They are netting for schoolies there so yes it is illegal.baitdigger wrote:Is it legal to set static nets in an estuary. A mark I fish on the Shannon is being netted, other people have seen the nets. As a result the fishing has been destroyed. It is a good mark which produces a lot of ray at the right times. How do I go about finding out if there is anything I can(legally) do about it?
Thanks
