all stages of tide

first mark windy raining, second mark calm

crab, rag

mostly 2/0, 3/0 pulley

me 7 smoothies to 4lbs 13oz, dave 1 smoothie around 3lbs, ginger 1 flounder, i doggie???, 4 smoothies to 5lbs 3ozs

report:
After reading dannys report we got the gra for the smoothies, so we all sorted a day off work to target them, after deciding that we will head down south off we went i picked up ginger and after 2hr drive met dave at the first mark, not the wearther we were hoping for, raining and very windy. But we set up anyway and cast out our big crab baits in hope that we might hook into a few smoothies, big tide running no hope for the grip leads to hold at all and none of us had fished this mark before so it was a shot in the dark really but only few minutes into it ginger reeled in a nice flounder 33cm happy days at least we knew there was some fish knocking around, must have being the only one though as the next 4hrs went by without even a bite.So after having a chat we decided to change marks and were we happy we did.............we arrived about 02:30, the weather was totally different here nice calm seas so we were hopeful of a few first cast out and after 10 minutes the rod started knocking, i reeled in a small smoothie bout 1.5lbs :D , spirits raised all round at least they were about so back out goes my crab baited pulley rig and this time even quicker bout 5 minutes after both me and dave hooked up at same time decent scrap put up by both fish before they were landed better fish this time, as we were unhooking ginger got his first ever smoothie happy days, a love starry hound of over 5 lbs, this was the way things went for most of the night busy periods mixed with quite times when they moved well at least for me and ginger, dave couldnt seem to connect no matter what he did :? ,just one of them days i guess, well not much else to report bar graham on reeling in for last time pulled in a rig dave snapped off with a doggie on daves rig not sure who to credit it to  so packed up at 06:45 and hit the road back to dublin happy with the first of many smoothie sessions to come
