Three people have been taken to Tallaght Hospital this afternoon after their small boat capsized in Killiney Bay.

Three people have been rescued after their dinghy capsized off Killiney Bay in Dublin.
Four people were in the boat when it capsized off Shanganagh Cliffs between Bray and Killiney at 2pm.
One person managed to swim to the shore and raise the alarm.
Two RNLI lifeboats from Dún Laoghaire and the coastguard helicopter went to the scene.
Two people were rescued by the lifeboat, while the third person was winched to safety by the helicopter.
The three have been taken to Tallaght Hospital suffering from hypothermia and shock. It is understood all were wearing lifejackets.
The RNLI said the conditions at the time were 'fresh' with force four to five winds.

Looked at the web cams in Dun Laoghaire this morning, flat calm. Got home at lunchtime and sea had changed dramatically  maybe they were caught by surprise.
Lucky we have the RNLI and copters to help out, good job well done. :D

Fair play on the rescue lads and the lads for wearing their life jackets. Was out there today and was flat calm all morning but started to pick up late afternoon. Just back from a local North Dublin mark and its nearly unfishable! Goes to show how quick the weather can change. Now wheres this glorious summer Ive heard so much about... :(
