Can see my first cast there being alot like my first encounter with the fairer sex; promising lead up,great encouragement from the lads, then when the time comes the nerves get to me I forget what I'm supposed to do and its all over in an instant leaving disappointed parties all round :|

Rods are nice and clean, the reels are in the process of being sorted and a good wind is forcast for the weekend 8)

Yip looks like lads are all doing very well, ag is 2nd place after day 1, paddy and gearoid have put down pb casts too.

Massive weldone to Andrew bomber gormley who came 3rd overall at the 2 day event in steyning. The worlds best were in attendance and it was superb casting over those days to make the top 3.

All the lads who went done really well and especially sod and gearoid who both had pb casts in their first big event.

Im sure there will be a full account on their return tomorrow.

Yes very well done Andrew. Monster 100g and 125g casts too! Well done to all the other lads too. 4 PB's for paddy as well. Excellent stuff.

i presume them distances are metres? if so then a whopping 299 yards for andrew gormley, well done to the rest of the lads too.
