SPECIMEN OR NOT

#1 Post by beachcomber »

For argument sake say one catches a pollock, the pollock weighs 12lb 2oz. Attached is a lamprey or similar parasite which weighs at least 2.5 oz maybe more. The lamprey remains firmly attached. Is the pollock a specimen?

Nope - you can't add up the weight of 2 different species in order to claim one of them as a specimen. Amen
I remember a case of a well known boat angler who was hoping to claim a specimen ling after a couple of lads stuffed it with at least 5 mackies :P - didn't work

What if the pollock eats the lamprey :D
UP THE DEISE!!!!!!!

If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.
