#1 Post by Sweetwrasse »

People:Myself

Duration:8pm-10.30pm

Tide:LW at 9pm

Weather:Calm

Bait:Squid and mackeral wraps

Rigs:2/0 pulleys

Results:1 doggie

Report:
Was down in Limerick for the weekend so couldn't pass up the opportunity to try for a ray. Time was tight but managed a few hours on Saturday night. Beautiful calm evening and hopes were high. Just after low water had a decent slow pull, lifted into it but sadly no ray on the end :( Should ray bites be alowed to develop or should you lift in straight away? I left this one for about a minute after the first pull. Fishing was slow but a sympathetic doggie showed up to beat the blank about 10pm  Ah well no ray this time so the hunt continues  Many thaks to the Austrian and Donagh for information on the mark.
It ain't easy but it sure is simple!
