June 2nd
Was looking forward to getting out & wetting a line all week so decided to give it a go that morning.
Packed the gear in the car & made my way to a rock mark, on arrival it didn’t look good, very rough with some dodgy swells running

The tide was starting to fill quickly so I moved a further down the rock & started spinning again after a few minutes I spotted a nice pollock bolt out from the kelp & take the spinner which gave a great account of its self got her landed a nice fish of 3 lb, hooked a better one on the last few casts which put up some scrap a fine fish of 5lb

June 7th
We went to try a different mark as we hadn’t fished in years after a fair bit of a hike we arrived I was first to cast out & hooked a good Pollock that managed to shake itself free at the last minute
