Guys I have noticed that there seems to be a large variety of seaguar flouro carbon line available to buy online, with a wide price range, and Im wondering can anyone point out what the main differences are?
For example I have bought Seaguar premium leader material from Cabelas for $14 or $15 for a 25yrd spool. I have also bought the Seaguar ACE 50m spools from the UK for around £12 or £13.
I have also found Seaguar 130 Kureha leader material which is around $23 for 130m of the same dia line that I would normally use.
Then there is other Seaguar fluro which is advertised as being a fishing line as opposed to being a leader material such as invisx or abrasx which are $20 to $30 for 200yrds.
I tend to keep the Premium stuff for Pollack gilling traces, but I don’t know what the difference is between this and the cheaper stuff?

Re: Seaguar fluoro carbon???????
Paddy without trying to go in to the scientific end of it because i dont know.
But i have used invisx the last 3 year for my rig bodies and snoods and gilling gear.
It ticks all the boxes for me. I use 15lbs for gilling and have yet to be broken off by pollack and i have had some big doubles.
Its well worth the value compared to all the other varieties. Prior to this i used carbon pro from seaguar. Equally as good
this is the only flouro i will rate i tried the tubertini gorilla line. Has a thin diameter and may be useful on the shore but not for me on the boat.
I get it cheap through buying form ebay.com the US ebay
regards
mick
well worth getting 1000 yrds spool same price as 3 200 spools
