Ballylongford Fishing

#1 Post by dexs7 »

Hi Lads

Was wondering where is a good spot to fish for thornbacks in ballylonford. I fished the estury over the bridge behind the castle before just got a few dogs.I also heard of carrig Island but never got a chance to fish it. I heard the estury is good but only certain parts are good for thornbacks. Does anybody have any info that could help me out. Would love to bang into a few thornies or stingers, I have tried the SPA and gaynors with no luck so far.
Thanks in advance guys
The finest gift you can give a fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
