People:Myself and Paul.

Duration:1830 - 2130.

Tide:High water about 1900.

Weather:Nice but windy.

Bait:Lugworm.

Rigs:Paternosters and pullies.

Results:Me 4 Blochan, 3 Codling. Paul 4 Blochan.


Report:Enjoyable evenings fishing. Loads of bites, some cracker rod of tripod ones. Have to work lates this week :( , but Tues and Wed evening tides should fish ok if anybodys going down.

Have to work. If you're going to fish it, and the piers full of mackeral bashers, fish from mouth of stream at carpark as far as you can cast, but don't go left as its pretty foul. We got better results with Lug rather than Rag.

Where abouts on Portmuck beach do you fish.
I used to fish it quite a bit, 20 years ago over to the right of the harbour.
