A couple of local nights, nice to go down and try Ballyhalbert, very rough as I remember but a couple of dogs about it, and a couple of bigger shore rockling to keep us occupied. Definitely a venue worth a bit more exploration.
Donaghadee tonight was a risky afair, with heavy thundery showers skirtying round us for the duration. Not much happening really and I concentrated on fishing in the rough most of the night with modest results. Shep went dangling and managed a fiesty little Shanny, While Dan was fishing at Distance and managed a nice wee Coaly.
Note. Whoever left the sweetcorn tins, jigging rigs and general rubbish around the pier... it's ok, we cleaned it up.
