???? greys greyflex-s 13ft 5oz

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

i use to own one and loved it its light enough to hold when bass fishing yet can still cast a 3hook rig and five ounce leads well over a 100 yrds... 4 oz leads work best 6 ounce is a bit heavy... ideal all round match rod at a great price im sure you'll like it... :D

Great rod.
Mine get used every weekend, not sure I would like to stand in the surf holding for to long though. Given mine a lot of abuse over the years and they have stood up well. Had them both rebuilt a couple of times mainly due to damage from them falling over/getting dropped/bashed on rocks. Had new fuji green rings fitted as they are a lot more durable. Learnt my lesson the hard way lost a fantastic fish due to the mainline breaking, checked it afterwards and found loads of damage on line caused by a cracked ring. :x :x
