Results: me - 2 ray & 9 doggies, Darragh - Dogfish & Corbyeire - Blank
Report: Had arranged to meet Corbyeire at a mark in Clare so headed off early after celebrating a great munster victory yesterday Arrived at mark and was set up at 11am straight from the get go the bites started. I missed my first bite so rebaited and got out again. Next bite and i managed to land my first ray of the year as i was landing this lad my other rod took a knock so took a quick pick of the ray and sent him on his way and struck into the second rod and up pops a decent size doggie, no record breaker but a nice one after a few minutes got a nice knock on one of the rods, after a good old tussle i landed a new pb for me, a 7lb thornie just landed another doggie as the lads arrived, as the lads were setting up i managed a double of doggies. Good to meet ye lads, Darragh hooked into a doggie but after a while the fishing seemed to die off and that way it stayed for the next few hours After bit of banter and craic the 2 lads decided to try else where i said i would give it another hour to high water as tiredness was starting to kick in just after the 2 lads left i managed another doggie and called it a day at that happy days a new pb for me Corbyeire, hopefully you saved the blank down the road
