Dingle Bass 8-12 May 2011

People:Me

Duration:4 days

Tide:mostly over low and rising

Weather:wind and rain

Bait:king rag and lures

Rigs:pully pennells

Results:bass




Report:Went down for a few days fishing. Had planned a mixed bag with some ray fishng and on to the rocks after some wrasse and pollack but with strong s to sw winds all week i stuck to the beaches for bass. I did manage one ray session up on the shannon but no luck. Fished for bass Monday to Thusday. Ended up with 9 bass and a seatrout which took a bass bullet. 2 schoolies and 7 bass 4 lb or better. The largest i am guessing went 7lb ish. No scales that day. All fish except 2 taken on king rag.

Thanks. Hopefully Eoghan. Down last 2 weeks in August but might get back down Sept.

thats a fine bass francis 8) and not a bad result for a few days fishing well done
