Blue Shark from the shore???? :shock: Really? Can I come watch? :D

I like the Cox and Rawle Meathook, size 8/0. Strong hook, you could nearly use it as a gaff.

Try for something about 10-12 feet in wire with a couple of intermediate swivels. Size 10/0 to 14/0 hook. Its a bitch to cast though :lol:

i'd try helvic they seem to be catching all sorts down there(see "salmon" post this forum)
