Greystones, Co. Wicklow 23/04/11

#1 Post by Richie07 »

People: Me

Duration: 13.00 - 16.30

Tide: HT around 15.00

Weather: Very sunny, warm, windy, sea quite choppy

Bait: Lure

Rigs:

Results: 25 Coalies.

Report: Just fancied a handy session close to the car so decided to fish the rocks in front of the school. It's still too early out that way for Bass and Macks on lure so didn't fancy doing the beaches plus there are always too many dog walkers out on a day like today, so didn't think I'd get any coming onto the rocks. Just fished a geen Kilty as sea a bit rough for a SP. I was in more or less on the first cast and got a hit nearly every cast, most were small, 3/4 lb with some up to 1lb. Great craic on light gear.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at the office!
