Result:1xBass7lb

Drove to courtown angling centre and picked up some nice lug and headed south to the beach!Im still amazed by the wind turbines even tho ive drove by them countless times!set up the gear and there was a very strong wind blowing down the beach from right to left...the dog wasnt impressed by this, hiding down behind my box was his solution but i improved on this by digging him a nice hole and walls to hide in see pics

It was on the second cast that the rod bent over in the tripod and i could feel the weight of the fish threw my brand new rod and reel.i eventually got him in after a good struggle in the surf....a nice bass just under 7 lb...my very first bass ever....delighted!!!!

being only my second cast i thought i was in for a great night, bass being schoolling fish etc but not a nibble for the rest of the night i still went home a very very happer camper!!!
rod christened also!!!

Thats a very nice bass indeed, first or 50th, but the fact that it was your first makes it a little extra special, my first was a wee schoolie, a 7 pounder would have been a bit more memorable. Well done

Brilliant fish man. the pic of the dog in its shelter is class. you can see his unhappyness before and then the happier after!
