Where would the best place to fish for decent Cod off the shore in the north dublin area prefarbly, but also the south side. And what would the best bait and hook size be

John,
Been a while since I fished the area but around the forty foot in Dunlaoire was good for codling in the Winter.
A good sized hook with plently of Lug on there worked best.
