meself and tex went out to see if we could nab another one of those 70cm bass that he caught on his own on friday night,,,,,,,,,,,,he doesnt catch many but when he does there just monsters  .......typical the night i didnt go is the night he caught one........didnt believe him at first till he showed me a pic in his camera,,,,,,,,,,,,i pressume maybe 10-12lb,,thats a guess..............myself and terry has a bet on ,that who ever catches the first bass while fishing together,,welll the other one has to buy a 20 euro voucher in a tackle shop in ballina for them...........i am very determined to win this one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,got to our mark and the surf was nice but a touch of northeast wind.,,,,was cold or anything, just pure mild.we both fished two rods,,,,intight and at distance,,,,,,,,we had lugs, mack, razors, sandeels so bait wasnt scarce...........we just had a half dozen of flounders and a few scittery coalies.......great to be out,,,we fished from 19.00pm til 23.30pm which was high water
