the idea aint that new :? i received a very simular device from a friend that was in canada about 15 years ago, it had intercangable tips one was a high pitched alarm and the other was a LED that flashed when rod tip moved :wink:
i think it is still lying around in the shed if i can find it i will try put a picture up :mrgreen:

Have seen ones that flash a different colour when you get a bite, but i just think that there are so many variables when it comes to see fishing electronic devices must have there limitations, personally i use wee bells for night fishing and i find they work for me.
Speices 2011 : Codling, Whiting, Bass, Flounder, Ray, Dogfish, Turbot

Speices 2012 : codling, Bass (pb), Flounder

Speices 2013 : Codling, thornie, Bass, whiting, coalie, flounder,dogfish,painted ray, Sea trout, Turbot

Species 2014 : Codling, thornie, turbot, flounder

2011 PB List - Ray 7lb
2012 PB List - Bass 11lb
2013 PB List - Painted Ray 10.5lb, 1lb 3b rockling, 10lb Thornback Ray, 1lb Sea Trout
