People:Me and doggy dave

Duration:11.30 am to 2.30 pm

Tide:2 hours before low i hour after low tide.

Weather: not bad, a wee bit breezy.

Bait: mack, bluey, squid and sandeel.

Rigs: numerous

Results: buggerall :evil:

Drove for 1 1/4 hours from belfast, climbed down a cliff, walked across millions of slippery rocks, laden with loads of gear, wearing floatation suits, to get to an old favourite rock mark of ours....... Caught fff all, walked back across millions of slippery rocks laden with loads of gear, wearing floatation suits climbed back up the cliff, drove for 1 1/4 hours back to belfast.... but hey, better than sittin in some pub watching football... isnt it ??? :cry:

Would worry mate i went to portrush for 4 hrs and caught bugger all as well, plenty of bites but other than that nothing.
might get out the night to try and sort thois blank out :lol:

Daylight fishing isn't great at the moment mate, even night's arn't that great it's just the time of year. There are pollock showing up on the Antrim coast from Larne up so why not try some of the rock marks at night.

well,.. i drove to donegal 2 weeks ago from co.antrim very keen to catch my first ray. 2hrs there 2hrs back. arrived in donegal with a storm blowing! - was unfishable! :shock: :roll: (btw, there was fine weather when i left home and when i returned :!: :roll: )

i feel your pain. u r not alone

Fair play for making the effort lads. Hope ye get rewarded for it soon. That kind of dedication has to pay off sooner or later. 8)

I don't think it's a case that everyone else is catching all the time. Most people just don't report blanks. I've had plenty of them over the last few weeks and so have most of the lads i've been talking to. Things will pick up soon with spring in full swing now. 8)

never worry man. march is always a tough month of the year. i was on 6 back to back blanks this time last year :( :( bloody grim.
