donegal beach mark 15/03/11

Duration:8pm-11.30pm

Tide:low and rising

Weather:nice and calm

Bait:mac ,lug, squid

Rigs:2-3 hook flappers

Results:7x flounders, 1x plaice (new PB), 1x colie




Report: not much to report, not much happens, hit one of my favorite beaches at dusk half an hour before low water, haven't any bait for almost an hour then land a wee flounder and then another few in short enough time then nothing again,
around 11 thought that is time for pack up had not much time to stay to long, reeled in one rod but baits were untuched, so packed it in , reeled second and land a plaice which is first in my spesies list happy days atleast something made me smile then i thought to try one more cast and after couple a minutes had a bait and reeled another flounder and colie, but no more baits after this, so hit the road towards home for another long jorney
no pictures my camera has been damaged by water since last my session and i still haven't it replaced

well done grady.was the plaice any size.i would like to get one of the beach meself.was it that beach that you never stop talking about that you were on
