Results: 1. A number of Mackerel caught on feathers 1hr before High Tide.

2. Pollock on two hook flapper approaching High tide, mackerel bait

3. Pollock on two hook flapper approaching High tide, mackerel bait

5. 2 Doggies approaching high tide two hook flapper, mackerel bait

6. Pollock on sliding rig approaching High tide, mackerel bait.

7. 4. Pollock on sliding rig High tide, mackerel bait.

8. Fising went off approx 1hr after high tide

Report: Fabulous mark first time there. Great directions on site. All Pollock were of a very good size but unfortunatly had no interest in anything moving and were only taking static baits from the bottom. Am going again tomorrow the 15th August am hoping to collect some rag and a few crabs on the way to try for some of those Ballans. Any advice on where to get crabs and rag nearby am told Klrush??

Chris,

Plenty of crab in Carrigaholt harbour at LW , some lug but rag are small and scarce.

Michael Bourke fishing Tackle in Kilkee may be able to get rag - check with him. He's beside the petrol station on the way into Kilkee.

Good luck at Ross my favourite spot in West Clare!
