duration-530pm-7pm
tide-nearly full,,big swell
bait--mack,razor,sandeel
rigs-1 up 1down flapper
result-seatrout,flounder

was itching to try a reel out,so got to a beach only to see a big swell coming in,so i sat in the car fora while watching the breakers,,ther was 5-6 cars all doing the same,it was very rough with big surf,,,so i got the gear out,,,i could see them watching me,,,wers this eejit going,like a kid ina sweet shop had to tyr the reel,,,set up the rod with just a waight on and had a few cast along the beach,,keeping the onlookers enertained,,,,could see them giggling at me casting the wrong way,,,,,,hada good few cast then put on a rig baited and out very impressed with the reel high speed mag 6500c3 ct,i usually fish 525 mag but was after the abu for age,s,,lovly reel,,it was hard to see any bite,s with the surf,,was reeling in what i thought was weed untill near the shore i felt the twitching,,a trout 39cm,,,happyman,,some of the onlookers came down fora look,,,quike pic then realesed,,0ne small flounder after that,,the breakers wher getting worse so i packed up,nice way to break the reel in

was dreading a birds nest,,,id havta go,,or throw it in the tide,lolll,,,but she was nice n smooth,,,would have made ther day seeing me talking and giveing out to the reel,,haha
