Gola - Feasible?

I plan to go to Gweedore and take the ferry to Gola around lunchtime, fish on th island, camp out overnight , fish for a while the following day and catch the small ferry home. Any idea if this would be feasible? Is it permissable to actually camp on the island? Is the fishing worthwhile?

I have looked at a small map and the south end of the island have lots of rocks which I hope would be suitable for floatfishing and spinning. It also said on a website that you can walk around the entire island in 2 hours so that would be fun to explore. The reason I am going to this bother (rather than just fish on the mainland) is to encourage my pal to go and the island adventure/camping appeals to him (and he has the car,joke ).
