Report; not really alot to say really.since its winter i plan to keep any sessions locally as short as possible.to be quiet honest there is not much on the sandy beds this weather and certainly in the line of flats anyway.i just wanted to get out of the house for an hour or two this evening.texted me mate and he was a no-goer so headed meself.put two rods out.pulley with good big bait at distance and a flapper in short.flapper didnt pick up any small flats(22cms) till dust and after.all were very small.the pulley caught the seatrout with a chunk of mack and a fillet of whitebait.with the wind making bite detection difficult even with my rods perfectly angled to suit the wind and keeping them low i noticed a good knock and then another.just picked up me rod and reeled in a seatrout of maybe (35cm).he was full of life and was hooked up near the tip of his mouth with made it very easy to unhook and realease to fight another day.was hopefull of getting another more into the dusk but never seen him.picked up small flats and at around 07.30pm noticed torches pointing at me in the distance so wrapped up and went home.im glad i did too cause winds increased and rain came too.small session but enjoyable to be out
