berkeley gulp saltware bait

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

#1 Post by allanaj »

just bought 8 packets of this stuff off ebay...it gets good reports...im goin to california/mexico,gonna do a bit of fishing...anybody familiar with taking it on a plane?

i.e - the ingredients being against customs rules...american airports say..'dead fish' are not allowed on planes..the bait itself looks plastic..but i think its in some natural juice extract..anybody know?

generally speaking anything thats been processed and is a sealed packet is fine esp in the hold
its would only be raw fish, whole cooked fish etc that they would have a problem with
although what you are allowed on the plane and what customs will let you take into the country arent always the same
cant see them having a problem with these though

If your first stop is California, then i would buy your soft baits there. the sports shops have a stunning array of everything and you would probably want to bring stuff back. Happy hunting.
