The seas around Ireland are in a sorry state due to governance and management systems that have failed. Our economy is burdened by a private debt foistered upon us by the same governance and management systems. There will be no substantial socio-economic forward progress for Ireland until the banks private debt is seperated from national (sovereign) debt.

Before you vote next week visit, http://thepeopleseconomy.com/, a site set up to inform the general public in plain english what is required to get Ireland out of the mire that we are in. Like many out there reading this post I am unemployed as a direct result of those same systems. Presently I am setting up a tourism related business, it is imperative that the next crowd does what the people want and not what the establishment demands. The correct information is out there, please use it.

I`m in the same boat as well, let`s hope the numpties out there can see past civil war politics and cast their votes objectively and not just follow in their parents foot steps.

its a sad reflection on ireland really that FF and FG still exist - pretty much the same principles in both parties

i know i should know better but i just cant understand how FF are still going to get 30-35 seats

the fisheries is like any other aspect of government - whoever has the biggest, loudest and finacially well oiled loby machine gets listened too
