Report:
So after the show on Sat we decided to wet a line and try out some of the new bits we picked up. So that evening we decided that Wexford was worth a drive as we had nothing on. Left the house around 10.00 and arrived around 12.30 to a big rolling surf. But the current was very strong and we could not grip the bottom at all. Stayed for 2 hours and decided to head to another spot. Back on the road again and one hour later we arrived in Wicklow. Rods setup and out again with a similar surf there as well but we were now on high water. Just after full tide it calmed down a bit and was more fishable. We had planned to fish on into darkness but something came up and we had to head back. As I brought in the rods my first rod had a welcome surprise a sea scorpion, my first, (or was it a two legged frog?) and then on my second a codling to add to the species list for this year .

sounded like ye were kitted out for a major haul!sea scorpion definetly someting different got a nasty prick off one of them last year!weird little buggers

we were planing on a serious session all wright but it doesn't all ways work out that way. its hard to beat the mini species to save the day. .

thanks mac attack .but i think ill leave putting my finger in its mouth .it was really peeded off when i brought it in so i dont think id give it the chance to get a bite at me. .
