West Waterford 07/02/11

#1 Post by Nite Owl »

People:me

Duration:16:30-20:30

Tide:HW around 19:30

Weather:Little or no wind, dry

Bait:lug/razor

Rigs:Pulley/2 hook flaps

Results:1 coaley, 1 bass, 3 flounder, 4 codling

Report:Typed this report earlier but the computer decided to crash as I was uploading pics
Short version: Bass was 41cm and the other fish were around the 25cm mark. Odd little session where the 2 rods would start twitching at the same time, I'd land a couple of fish then nothing for about 45mins until it started all over again. Plenty of time to relax between bites. Great to be out :D :D :D

Lovely fish niteowl well done
Fisherman's prayer:
God grant that I may live to fish, For another rainy day.
But when my final cast is made, I then most humbly pray.
When nestled in your landing net, As I lay peacefully asleep.
You'll smile at me and judge, That I'm "good enough to keep"!
