lifed thomas at around 10.30am and we headed off to culdaf to meet up with tom and cathal, when we got there they were already on the beach and fishing. so we got our gear sorted and were casting out our baits in no time. fishing was slow from the off, but cathal then pulled in a turbot, then thomas pulled in a turbot (his first, and new species for him) cathal was off the mark again with another flattie. time was getting on and me and tom was yet to land anything then tom pulled in a small flounder so that saved his blank, i was the only one with a blank card then tom pulled in another flounder. then the wind and rain hammered down on us, with even a few hailstones thrown for good mesure so we stopped for a cuppa, then back to the fishing, things were still very slow with nothing happening, but then i landed a flounder at least i beat the blank!!! shorty after that we packed up the gear and headed for home.

Well done everyone, good results for a session during the day. Some cracking flattie action for you all. Congrats Thomas on getting your first ever turbot That looks like a real scenic spot, the beach and sand is so clean, not a pick of litter and hardly any weed to be seen, wish the beaches where I live where like that but they're not unfortunately.
Class pictures, the background is something else. Nice surf too. Great report Don.
