Re: diawa emcast 6000
Hi Wayne,
I've been using the daiwa emcasts for a few years now in the 5500 and 6000 size, and haven't had any problems with them in that time
Got my last one for 60 quid at the show in Swords last year. I was thinking about getting another, but I might try something from the Shimano range this time just to try something new.

Re: diawa emcast 6000
Yeah al was thinking if picking it up at the expo.
Have the aerlex but just looking for a new reel with spare spool as aerlex doesn't.
Was looking at the fox 12000 las yr, lovely reel but bit pricey.
Still good deals to be had, got imax jacket and trousers for 90 yo yos.

Wayne the new Shimano Biomaste looks nice and it's only about £120 from the UK. I'm looking for the older model with not much luck

Re: diawa emcast 6000
3! Comes with an 8000, 7000 and a 6000 which is handy for the braid. Well that's the older one but I'm sure the 2010 model would be the same.
