Report:Headed down to enneriely straight after work, hoping for a few plump cod, when I got there Pat was set up already, the full bright moon was showing us a lazy sea that wasn't up to very much, very calm and flat.
Beautiful night to be out though, and wasn't as cold as I expected it to be, Caught 7 whiting to 25cm which kept our hands busy and unfrozen, all to lug and mussel. Called a night at 23.00, could have stayed and caught wee whiting all night but decided to leggit, there was no sign of my plump cod 
and roads were brutal on the way down, it was going to be a slow drive home. Happy to get off the mark for 2011 Next stop....Waterford where I'll hopefully get my elusive plump cod 
good to get out in the fresh air and get some practice for sat week
