#1 Post by roger de dodger »

3 anglers fished 3 hours of the rise into dog rough ground with two bites between us and not a fish landed :| my first blank of 2011  it happens to us all sometime  note the sea was like a mirror but not even a whiting or a crab

Fished it two nights ago, sea was like glass then too! I thought you would have had more luck at the rough. We only managed 5 fish between us...all nippers!

Hard luck man. Had a similar experience in Greystones last night. Just managed to pox a small flounder when retrieving the rig I had out hoping for a codling. Bait untouched in close all night, I suppose the flounder are gone spawning :|
It ain't easy but it sure is simple!
