Killimer ferry
Hi i,m new to this forum from south wales, and myself and a few mates will be coming over to fish the shannon in october staying in kilkee so just wondering about the killimer ferry how regular is the service as we will be driving from cork to kilkee and need to know what the times of this ferry are + any fishing info will be much appreciated cheers

In October, they sail every hour on the half hour from Tarbet. It is only a 10 or 15 minute crossing. If you are coming from Cork it may be quicker to drive to Limerick and go on from there.
I am fairly new to fishing but if you do a search you will see a lot of posts on fishing the estuary; Poulnasherry Bay, Labasheeda, Carrigaholt, Moneypoint are some of the marks, and nearby on the west coast of Clare Doonbeg and Bridges of Ross. Have a look at the shoremarks on the main page.
