another blank day

i have not caught a fish since october , its bloody awful , i am travelling all over but mainly north coast and getting nothing at all , this is my first winter with serious sea fishing , is this normal or is there a secret tactic ....

if Al and Jordans reports are anything to go by fishing for coalies when its getting dark seems to be a sure fire way of getting fish.
and the good thing about coalies is if a shoal moves in then they will hit anything put in front of them

dont worry about it mate, i blanked on fri evening on benone beach. it was very depressing as all 3 of us blanked so i didnt feel so bad! :lol:
2011 species (16) - Flounder, Coalies, Pollock, sand eel, Wrasse, Sea Trout, dogfish, thornback ray, Whiting, Red Gurnard, Codling, Grey gurnard, pouting, Mackeral, Turbot, Plaice

targets for 2011 - Bass, sea trout and big cod! - Scratch one! Sea Trout Down!

Welcome to MY world. If you or anyone else needs lessons on blanking,I am the number one expert. :D :D
Maybe we should start a club for blankers :D Or take up distance casting on dry land. (only joking). :D :D
I don't fish to catch fish. I just like using the gear.
If you think I am narky now, you should hear me when I'm in bad humour.

good thats awful and its must be awful on ur confidence.i wish u have a great year this year.i went 2 or 3 weeks witout fish and that was awful.cudnt imagine wat its like since last oct.wishing u all the best in future
