few nice flounder

#1 Post by eeler »

People:me

Duration:

Tide:

Weather:mild, breezy

Bait:lug mack sandeel squid crab

Rigs:clipped pennell. 3 hook flapper

Results:11 flounder

Report[/b/]went to the beach to use up the bait i had in the fridge. i went to a spot i usually always get a few fish and it looked really good with a big surf but after a few hours of not even getting a bite i left and was heading for home, i had a bit of bait left so stopped at a beach that i never really fished much even tho its only half an hour from my house, wasn't expecting much as the tide had started to drop but ended up catching eleven flounder, most of them were a good size too with some nice big fat ones in the mid thirtys, id say it'd be a great spot for flounder with a rising tide.

Good lumps of flounder well done
Fisherman's prayer:
God grant that I may live to fish, For another rainy day.
But when my final cast is made, I then most humbly pray.
When nestled in your landing net, As I lay peacefully asleep.
You'll smile at me and judge, That I'm "good enough to keep"!

Damn them Dubs ruining fishing for everyone, wouldn't want to tar anyone with the same brush now  'if ya have bad fishing in your own area don't bother tavelling to ruin others'- weirdest statement i've read... if you had of said if ya travel down have some respect and leave the place in the same state ya found it, that would have made sense..but telling someone not to travel if the fishing is crap in their own area is just weird :|

However

I do agree about keeping the spot to yourself or people who ya trust (not Dubs), I've seen areas ruined once word got out :x
