Hi lads!i try fishing for cod in co Sligo,but still nothing on aughrishead,rosespoint,ballyconellpoint.just few coalies,doggies,pouting,whiting...many thanks if somebody can help me or may be fishing together in the future

been trying for the last 3 years only ever had one at Rosses point 3 winters ago and lost that in the weed at my feet >

U'll have better luck going to Cork

Where do you fish for them at rosses point. Off the beach?? Must be long distance casting.

last winter at rosespoint near the old pier was 5 small codling ca.15cm,on the beach just sea trout-long distance casting no problem but no cod

Tomorrow we try on Achill island ,the plan is from 6am to 11am-hope Cod ....

Hi, if you want to catch codling, come in to Cork, phone me and I'll show you a good spot to fish for it.
