Duration:6.30pm-1.30am

Tide:high 2am

Weather:nice clear night

Bait:fbl,fresh lug,sandeel mack

Rigs:all sorts

Results:flounder,whiting,5 beard rockling,dogs,poor cod,coalie,




Report:well it was time to get the new year off to a good start,so a quick phone call to dan to arrange a session and of we went,we got off to a cracking start with a treble of flounder for me,and john had a double of whiting,fishing was steady all night with flounder and whiting coming in regularly,with rockling showing as well,this is the only beach i know where you will get rockling on a regular basis.dan got the only dog,which was a blessing,and i got the only poor cod.grand warm night compared to the last few sessions we had during the big freeze :shock: none of the fish were over 29cm but what the hell,nice way to start the new year.will post pictures when i recharge the camara.

must get my finger out and get to a pier or beach soon. :D

cheers lads,it was a great way to start the new year,went out last night but easterly winds put paid to any serious fishing,just a few flounder to be had
