old mags

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and even though I enjoy fishing I have to be Irelands worse fisherman. All I can say on the subject is that the seaweed harvest was excelent in Connemara last September when I last fished there. But I'll persevere, I'm looking forward to my next expedition to the area.

Something I need help with is that I am trying to track down a magazine called Angling Ireland. I think Frank Quigly was the editor. I'm looking for one of the early editions, I think it may be issue 5 but almost certain the one I am looking for is in one of the first 15 issues of that magazine. I'm doing a lot of thinking here but here goes again, I think this magazine was first published around 1992. The article I am interested in concerns fishing on the river Brosna and accomodation in Heartland Holiday Hostel in Ballycumber Co. Offaly. (the hostel no longer exists). Any help or direction on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, magsman

PM me your e-mail address and I'll pass your query on to Frank. Can't guarantee you he'll remember the article though.
