Does anybody know what's happening to Fort Camden in Crosshaven at the moment, there's a security guard in a hut there now, wouldn't let me in yet there were loads fishing from the piers there.
Fishing Weekend was a disaster.
Saturday Church Bay, didn't even put the rod in the water there, Sunday Courtmacsherry, nothing, Monday Roscarbery & Union Hall nothing. Anybody else have a bad a weekend of it.

The wooden bridge has been deemed unsafe by the Council and though they are not doing anything about it they have employed a firm to keep people out. Its not working, I fished it this Sunday morning at 5.00am with my mate Geordie and Bob my dog. We got in by being reasonable with the guy on duty, there were also a few lads down there all night. We had five codling to 2. 1'2lbs and a plaice plus loads of mackerel. best bait razor/lug cocktail. Chris....
