hi alan,it was well worth it,I was getting fed up at home,I didn't feel the cold too much,I didn't even think it had dropped so low

I thought I was mad until 4 people came down the pier and hoped on a speed boat to go out to one of the islands at 6pm,the drip on my nose was starting to freeze and i had shelter from the pier,I can only imagine how they felt by the time they got to the island, and they were heading straight in to the north wind
the water was a bit low at the pier for the dogs, the only dog I would like to see that night was a St Bernard with a flask on his collar
