Co Antrim beach Sat 27th

#1 Post by pol2768 »

Myself and Liam

1600-1900 liam stayed till 21.00

low tide about 2100ish

clear and not a breeze (not as cold as we thought it was going to be)

Rag and squid

flappers and Liams home made rigs (which he is very proud off  )

Results:Myself :2 Flounder,1 coalie,1 whiting,2 rockling,1 dogfish.
:Liam :2 Flounder,1 whiting , 10 rockling

Decided to head up the coast for a few hours arrived at spot and set up and within 10 mins was into first fish a small flounder, Liam arrived about 15 mins later and set up it was not long before he was into his first fish a rockling of about 20cms, the rest of the evening we were catching fish at a steady rate flounder whiting rockling all around the 20cms mark, it was a nice night with no wind and we seemed to escape all the snow showers i packed up just after 7 liam stayed till 9.
