Re: COLOURED SHOCKLEADER
I personally like the coloured shockleader for visibilty when night fishing, particularly on occasions when I come into unwanted contact with weed and the likes, I find it easier to unravel as it stands out a lot more and I can see what's what.

Re: COLOURED SHOCKLEADER
Agree with the two posts above. Did I read somewhere that adding colour to line makes it less robust?
Always use tapered shocks myself which are usually clear only.

With the advances in technology I wouldn't think that coloured line would be less robust than any other.Hugo wrote:Agree with the two posts above. Did I read somewhere that adding colour to line makes it less robust?

Ultima do tapered shockleader in various different colours, my local tackle shop only stock orange and yellow strangely enough, I had to source the clear ones online.

Re: COLOURED SHOCKLEADER
with the thickness of shockleader i dont think colour is going to affect performance, in thinner lines it will, sometimes making them better for fishing than the same line in clear.
on the casting field coloured shockleader makes finding your crackoffs much handier
for those who suffer from that affliction
