Tide:HW About 21:00

Weather:Cold

Bait:Rag

Rigs:Clip Downs

Results:3 Flats,2 Coalies, 3 Schoolies




Report:Been out a few times this week and had some great fishing ive picked up about 15 bass all under size bar one about 6lb.Got to the mark today and from the off the rod was going first two casts and landed two small bass .the flats kept the rod tip going while the bass were quite .i dont think ive ever had so many schoolies before .its great to see after the wipeout of bass by netting in my area at the moment.hopefully these young bass make it to that magic 10lb mark with a bit of luck.NO COD :shock:

nice session there, we were down last week and had a good few codling but no bass :oops:

sounded like a good weeks fishing ray fair
play to ya ,there must be a hugh amount
of poaching going on ,this is the worst year i
have had for bass in the last 10 years :shock:

Good result - most of the bass I have caught over the last month or so have also been small, even from a beach in West Waterford that normally throws up a few over 4 lbs, makes me wonder has that been netted too????

Cheers Frank .I think at this stage if there was bass in your sink ,the next time you went to wash the dishes you would have to take the net out first :evil: at this time of year they should be a bit bigger.
