Bray, Co. Wicklow, Saturday 6th November 2010

#1 Post by John D »

People:Mise

Duration:From 12:20 until 15:45

Tide:Falling

Weather:New moon, light winds, cool, dry with very occassional shower, overcast, flat sea.

Bait:Fresh rag

Rigs:2 hook paternoster with size 2/0

Results:Blankety blank :-(

Report:I didn't have much time so I settled for a quick and easy journey down the M50 to Bray. I fished from the Beach south of the Harbour for 2 hours and then for an hour and a half from the rocks just south of the harbour. I got two positive bites from the beach but couldn't connect with any fish. It was very quiet apart from that. I saw a couple of huge mullet mooching around the kelp at the bottom of the rocks south of the pier, they were foraging and also jumping!
Protect the magical sport of sea angling and spread the word that conservation is the way forward. Put fish back!!!!
