Ireland win World Shore Championships in South Africa!

was in touch with j.p earlier, wales in 1st, south africa 2nd and ireland 3rd. j.p was 5th overall
shore species 2008(25):dogfish(3.1lbs), bull huss (12lb 2oz), bass, shore rockling, coalie, whiting, pollack, conger (22.4lbs),flounder, thick lipped mullet (4.8lbs),turbot,ling (11.2lbs),ballan wrasse(4.5lbs), cuckoo wrasse, pouting, poor cod, cod (9.5lbs), dab, 3 bearded rockling, long spined scorpion fish, corkwing wrasse, plaice, trigger fish, sea trout, garfish

Yeah they just don't have the gear to handle it over there,
The top 3 overall will more than likely come from these 5 teams.

I believe there are lots of guitar fish being caught, but the zones are being won with a big fish in amongst all the guitars, like a 30kg ray for one of the english, we certainly have an advantage over the tiddler bashers, tight lines to our lads,

Just talking to Jypsy there,

Himself mark and john o brien look like having won their zones today pushing Ireland up into at least second and possibly first after day 2!
