Greystones 05/11/10

#1 Post by Marble »

People: Me, Matt69, Will

Duration:6pm-12pm

Tide:11pm calm

Weather:Nice

Bait:lug, Rag, Mac, Razor, Crab, Squid

Rigs: Lots

Results: Bass,flounder,Whiting,Coalies,Codling,Dogfish

Report:Decided to hit greystones and was suprised to see it so calm and none of the heavey rain they were forecasting all day.
I was first off the mark with a 33cm whiting after that was dead and the current made it impossable to ground.
Then me and will were getting coalies, dogs and small codling, then matt got off the mark with a flounder 32 cm an hour before full tide.
Then matt got a bass 48cm, within 5 mins of that he had another bass 50cm this time.

All in all a good nights fishing

Duck me. What a result for Greystones. Massive Bass. I've fished there 20 times and never had one over 30cm. Well done! Go on, where are the photos?
List 2010. fish

List 2011: less fish

2012: less fish again,

2013: even less fish.
