Why is this: (Entries with entry fee from club secretaries only will be accepted)

Never heard of doing it this way, I'm sure the club secretarys will thank you for this
Kstaff has always been the new black in my eyes anyway!!!!!!!

Pre entry rules
Clubs have lost too much money on taking entries from members who do not turn up on the day.

I know, I paid entry money for two Waterford anglers “I’ll be there I’ll fix you up when I’ll get there” at a M.C.S. leg they never showed up and I’m down €40

Pegs and prizes are based on the pre entry numbers if a club cannot be sure of the entries then they end up with unwanted prizes or not enough prizes.

Yes I understand that but that's not what I asked, this is the question. Why do entries have to go through club secretary's

Hi Paul.

It is the same for all big comps in Munster i.e. Munster open and closed comps - It does seem to work............ when your club has a secretary who is any good :D
UP THE DEISE!!!!!!!

If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

KStaff winning matches is the new black.

names were given for the competition but because of unforseen circumstances on the day i ,a waterford angler could not attend that competition. i only booked in a few weeks in advance never asured any one ill be there and never asked anyone to pay or put in my entry fee.
donal domeney wrote:“I’ll be there I’ll fix you up when I’ll get there”
i never said.

i am involved in running opens and i would take it for granted one or two not to show and any one ever ran an open would agree, but to put in money for someone with out phoneing and asking i would not do and dont think any one should do.
