gps to dsc conection problem

hi lads,i have a garmin gps conected to an icom vhf/dsc radio,i was out yesterday and noticed that the gps was not sending position to vhf,useless if you need to use the dsc button,has this happened to anyone before,does anyone know how to resolve this problem,have already checked for loose wires,eddie................

hi there put a multimeter on the out put of the gps you should get a varing voltage around 3.5V it will rise and drop as data changes (have the meter on V DC)

Hey Eddie,

Double check the menus on the Radio. The DSC data might not be enabled.
